NEWSLETTER: Happy New Year. We’re welcoming both 2021 and a new colleague in our Chicago office. Ivana Popratnjak has joined Bovill Newgate from the National Futures Association. She bolsters our capabilities in the commodities and derivatives space with unique insight and expertise around NFA examinations.
The new year also brings with it significant change at the SEC where a number of high ranking officials are departing, giving newly inaugurated President Biden and his appointees the opportunity to shape the SEC for the next four years.
Finally, a reminder that the first quarter of the year is a busy time of year for regulatory filings and for work at the SEC, NFA and FINRA. We are busy supporting clients in completing these year end processes. Let us know if we can help.
